Awful, I remember watching him on Canada's blueline at the World Jr's not too long ago.

Tragic loss all around.

It sounds like he potentially died in a really painful way. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Now on to the hockey side, I remember how he almost made the team as an 18 year old after he was drafted. At one point he was one of the ten best prospects in the game but he regressed. While he was still very young, I doubt he would have developed into a franchise blue-liner. Because of his age, he still had upside, but this isn't a huge loss for the Nucks on a Hockey level.

That is very sad news he could of really developed into a good blue liner.

I heard they are gonna have a moment of silence at tomorrows game in Pittsburgh.

Man, that's truly awful. My condolences go out to his family and friends. I don't know much about the kid but from what i've read he had tons of potential.
