Canes' Corner - Carolina Hurricanes Thread

We black guys in North Carolina don't get a chance to talk hockey that much. So I'm starting a thread.

Canes won 7-0 tonight. Eric Staal is off to a great start.

Saw only the last 5 minutes tonight. Canes hand the Sens their first L of the season. @ Ottawa. Cole hit the net twice for his 1st 2 of the year. And Staal had an empty netter to give him 5 in 5.

I kept up with the game last night, and they sounded pretty good beating Ottawa. Getting Stillman and the rest of the injured bunch back from last year was big, so they should be able to contend for the division.

I like the fact that they have 3 good scoring lines now. It should help them keep the pressure up.

Watching the game @ Montreal. huet is doing it by himself. Tons of chances for the Canes. About 3 to 1 in SOG. Still the game is knotted @ 1.

Different game in the 3rd. Montreal has turned on the heat. But Ward has been up to the challenge.

Huet just made a beaut of a save. Stretched his stick behind his back to make the save on his glove side.

LaRose w/an empty netter to finish it. Great goaltending in the 3rd from both net keepers.

Great win against Montreal. This team is looking very, very solid.
