God, its been a long time since we posted anything here.
Canes go on a 3-game road trip w/Cam Ward & the defense playing better. Only 6 goals given up in the last 5 games. Two shutouts.

Who knows? I think the franchise was more concerned w/the defense, which has improved as of late. We'll see if the pickup this week of Jokinen works out.

The PP was really working tonight against the Bolts; Corvo blasted 2 in a row...Also, as an aside, the announcers for the Hurricanes are outstanding IMO; both of them have great chemistry not only on the air but w/the players as well

Agreed. Great pair. They've done a lot in teaching me the game. My understanding has increased 10-fold thanks to Forslund & Tracy.
What I really like is that they are Canes fans, but they don't let that fact make them ignorant of mistakes on Carolina's part or think the refs are cheating anybody.

First time I watched a Canes game in a while and to my surprise Erik Cole was back w/the team...It made me happy - Canes played fairly well.
