It's just the Canes don't generate much convo in hear in NEast NC. Then when you're black & start mentioning something about it, people give you the same look you'd expect if you had dreadlocks made out of snakes.

Carolina kicked heinie in the 3rd tonight. 4 goals to break open a tight 2-2 game. Staal & Hedican each w/3 points. I don't think the Canes PP has ever been this good in the 10 seasons they've been in Carolina. & Ward looks to be back to his Stanley Cup level.

And that is absolutely great. He is over his sophomore slump it seems but I won't go too far this early in the season. Hedican with three points is nice, one of the best skaters in the NHL.

Canes are slooooopppyyyy in this 1st period vs Montreal. Can't get possession of the puck, silly penalties, not identifying the open skater, & even scoring in their own net.
Hopefully, Erik Cole is all right. He was taken out on a stretcher after slamming head 1st in to the goalie. They say he was walking w/out a brace. So that's good news.
Ward has been inconsistent in goal of late. He can go from shaky to stonewall w/in periods it seems.
But the Canes remain solid. 2nd most points in the East.

Canes got a much needed 4-3 win over TB. This team is not the same as when they started the year. they aren't flying all over the ice & the goaltending has been poor @ best. Erik Stahl is the only player that seems to be playing top notch right now from the opening period.

Some comeback last night vs the Leafs. This team is so schizo. They are going to start calling Cane fans the "Cardiacs" instead of Caniacs.
