Thank god, we have been playing great! I went to see them at DC a week ago and we got destroyed. :-) I guess I am just bad luck.

They didn't have all hands on deck then. They now have 3 lines that are putting the pressure on. & Ward seems to be over his soph jinx. The PP is more productive as well. Even though Staal didn't score last night, he was constantly challenging Huet. I don't know how many shots & misdirections he put on him yesterday.
Right now, the offense is as balanced as it was 2 years ago. They can make some noise. What's really encouraging is that they are doing this on the road.

Nice win against Montreal. Pretty much had possession all game and Huet is the only reason the game wasn't 10-1. Looks like the Canes' are for real this year!

I was impressed with grahme (sp) that night though. Seems to be a very solid back up to Cam.

Huet was amazing. Canes had a seige on him those 1st 2 periods. Constantly sending arrows across the wall. & he still kept the majority out. Very impressive. Real exciting game last night.

Lost a shootout to Pitt after giving up a 3-1 lead. Meh, guess a point is good though.

Yeah. But they still can't win shootouts. It's their Achilles' heel. Any word on Walker yet? All I heard was something abdominal, that's it.

OT loss today. At least they get a point when they lose.

Those lost pts in the OT's & shootouts is what kept them out of the playoffs last season. They've got to find a way to win in those do or die situations. They count in the end.

Agreed, I do not want to see my team sitting at home this summer.
