I think it's safe to say that Jeff Carter is on his way to becoming one of the best offensive players in this league. I knew it was just a matter of time. I love his wrist shot... it's like a freaking laser. He's awesome.

I was mostly listening more than watching, but that was the kind of game that they used to lose. Flyers would pressure, pressure, pressure, miss a scoring opp. then cough up a late goal. It's nice to see it going the other way for a change. But, how much are they missing Briere to help set up the PP?

Difficult SO loss after such a great comeback tonight against Cindy's team. Just an unfortunate deflection on the late pass. Give him 99 more passes like that and he makes it clean. A shame, but what great resolve and Gagne's comeback is amazing.

I saw the comeback and how we were up 4-3... but then I saw we had another period to play and I knew it wasn't going to last. Ugh... I wish we could string some wins together and get my confidence in the team up.

But Gagne's comeback has been spectacular. He's always had it in him, obviously, but after so many setbacks due to concussions it's been very uplifting to see him playing and playing very well.

Pens/Flyers hate aside, I have to admit that these are pretty darn sharp... except for the friggin' white nameplate! I guess there's some historical basis for it, but man does it look bush league. Interested to hear a fan's perspective...

I don't care if they wear pirate poofy shirts. It's starting to really look like a surge now. Big shutout by Biron against the team that is directly ahead of them in the standings. Perhaps there is getting to be a bit of a gelling within the lines. This will allow Briere to take his time and heal properly now. I still wish Richards would stop trying to force things sometimes, though. Sometimes he seems better served to pass and not shoot, or even hold and wait to pass instead of forcing the issue at times.
