What, no comments about Laraque's ballerina slide into Biron last night?

What are you guys talking about? Biron's flop was the biggest flop I have ever seen! Plus, he was asking for the Laraque slide when he was mocking Crosby.

Yeah, I admit that you should be able to run up the score because it is professional hockey. But throwing cheap shots when up by 5 was completely ridiculous.

Oh well, can't wait for the next rematch.

Same as when you are down 5. And it's just revenge for last year when the Pens ran the score up on the Flyers. Need to learn to deal with it.

And Fiddy, please tell me you really don't think Laraque lost his footing in his slide into Biron... Why crosscheck a goalie when you can take his knees out? Goalies are pretty well protected around the chest/face/neck area. A knee can pop no matter how much protection is there. That's obviously what Laraque was going for.

And as for saying Biron deserved the slide for mocking Crosby, Laraque should have come up to him and faced him like a man. Or hell, have Crosby fight his own fights if he wants to take people out. But too bad after he takes Biron down he sat the bench the rest of the game so no retaliation could happen to him.

EDIT: Oh, and as for flopping, you got the king of dives on your team.

The Laraque slide was classless. No goalie deserves to be taken out in such a way. He's lucky Hextall wasn't in goal for Philly.

Other than that, rival teams are always going to run up the score and think of it this way, it will only make the next meeting more exciting!

Exactly, getting swept 8-0 and getting killed in some of those matchups made me look forward to playing the Pens more this year. And now that it's swung back in the Flyers favor for the time being, it's even more exciting.

hockey is hockey to me... running it up doesnt exist to me in pro sports. they are getting paid to play 60 mins.

IMO until Georges said he did that on purpose i will think otherwise. b/c IMO if he wanted to send a message he would have done it with his fists.. like BGL has done in the past..

did Sid try and jab at Biron when he skated by? yes.. did Biron win an award for diving? yes..

IMO both situations were blown way overboard by the media..

lol right.. b/c he gets held and hooked on every shift makes him a diver? come on now.. its obvious MOST of his peers dont think so by giving him the awards last year.. the guys that do think he is a diver, are the ones who are lucky to be in the league and cant keep up with him..

Haha, I guess you didn't see when Biron motioned for Crosby to come back and fight.
