Very nice to see we're still picking up points with 50% of our team being Phantoms.

Re: The Official Thread of the Philadelphia Flyers

Win tonight and we pull into a tie for first place. Carter playing tonight, Richards day-to-day, Gagne most likely back Thursday. If we at least split against Buffalo and Ottawa this week, we will have weathered this latest injury storm pretty well.

Although I've gotta say, I don't feel great about playing Ottawa with our current crop of defensemen. But we shall see....

It wasn't the prettiest win...
We absolutely dominated Ottawa in the first, but seemed to play with no emotion after that. It was good to see Gags back, and it looked like the Knuble-Forsberg-Gagne line didn't miss a beat.

3 points from Ottawa and Buffalo...not bad.
2-0 against Ottawa this year.

PHEW!!! What a game tonight... talk about an emotional roller coaster. I hate seeing the Fly Guys give up big leads two games in a row, but it's still enouraging that they won both games.

We look like a different team with Richards and Gagne back in the lineup. I pray we get a chance to see a healthy lineup at some point... just the thought gives me goosebumps!

Lastly, I have bad a feeling i'm going to be cursing Crosby for many years to come.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FLYERS FANS!!!

Re: The Official Thread of the Philadelphia Flyers

Great game tonight for Mike Richards. I was worried about the game, coming off a huge emotional win over Ottawa. Pittsburgh hadn't played in 5 days, so they were well rested.

Crosby is amazing. As much as I hate the little prick, mainly because he's a Penguin, he's something special.

Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuussssssssssssss!
Great game. Nitty was amazing...again. I'm sold. He gets more confident with each game he plays.

How about Ben Eager? Big body, energetic, and his first two goals of his career tonight. We're seeing these young kids step up on a consistent basis.

Flyers win...
Rags lose...
Life is good.

...and the "kids" are seeing a variety of talents during this stretch, especially high level players.... only making them better to handle the road trip.

What's the word on Preemes?
