From there it's been his work ethic, and despite what his handlers say, scoring a 6 on the wonderlic told me all I needed to know about this guy running complex NFL offenses. Add to that his maturity or lack of it, strip club fights (over the hook em sign no less), side line temper tantrums.

I'm clearly not a fan, of his but I think that if he works hard on football and only football, there is still a place for him. The NFL is all about second and 3rd chances. If old *** Randy Moss can get some burn in San Fran, the sun has not set on VY's career.
Both him and Moss are head cases. But have to say athletic wise Moss can make up for it.

VY is very immature still which won't help his case if he starts getting frustrated in Buffalo fighting for a back up job.

VY is doing fine. Hell, Fitzpatrick has been with Buffalo for 2 or 3 years and he's just now starting to figure out the offense. VY has a hell of a lot more talent than Fitz. Just gotta take the great throws with some of his bad decisions. He's still a hell of a lot better than Thigpen.

And Blue he maybe able to come up their and play if he continues to struggle.
I'd say that's exactly what he did on the Titans. That's why I've always been skeptical. It worked in the way Tebow worked in Denver, just not as extreme. If you're not building an entire gameplan around him, I don't think he can hack it, and his immaturity took him out of the running for ever having a gameplan built around him again.

Couldn't have said it better, but I wouldn't put him in the same category as Moss... unless he's going to switch to WR which may not be a bad idea.

Panthers have terminated the contract of OT Jeff Otah. I wouldn't mind Washington bringing him it for the remainder of camp, too see if he can make it. Need all the Oline help they can get.

Didn't he originally fail his physical because of some knee issue he had in Carolina?

True they need the help, but if he was ready to go the trade would've gone through (and I'm guessing the Panthers wouldn't have cut him so soon after it was reversed). They'd probably be better off leaving him be.

Yep, but team physicals are funny. Same player can fail one teams physical yet a day later pass another teams.

Otah is a beast in the running game. Hell sign him and IR him this year. Skins are not a playoff team this year anyways.

Re: 2012 Training Camp/Preseason Thread

He's better off just not signing anywhere right now and focus on getting healthy then signing either later in the season or next offseason.

If he's not on a team, he would have to pay all those rehab expenses himself.

So why sign him then if you have no intention on playing him and if you're probably not going to give him more than a 1 yr deal, which is probably how much he's worth right now anyway.

You're almost better off waiting until teams start making roster cuts to get their rosters to 53.
