NFL Network: Top 100 Players of 2012

Since this forum has been lacking some life due to it being the offseason, I've decided to create a thread about NFL Network's Top 100 players of 2012.

Now only current active players have participated in the votings of these players on this list.

The criteria is who they think are the best players in the league today.

So far these players have made the list:

100-91

This list is shaping up to be even more questionable from last year.

I thought Carl Nicks had an excellent year. I thought he was the best guard in football, and he dropped like what 21 from 2010. And I'm still not sure how Tebow made it.

Desean Jackson ahead of A.J. Green and Jordy Nelson is pretty laughable.

I know i may sound like a homer but for fred jackson to be so low on this list even though he did get hurt and miss 5 weeks he still was putting up crazy numbers. Idk i mean im glad that hes on the list because i do believe he deserves to be just maybe higher

Jackson over Hakeem? This list is still a joke and a half.

I gotta agree guys. DeSean Jackson was too high on this list this year. If he was going to make this list, he shouldn't have been any higher than 91.

The reaction show has been hinting Cam Newton will be on this list. I dunno, he had arguably the best rookie season for a quarterback. But compared to the rest of the league, I think he has ways to go.

I think OL are gonna be weird when it comes to this list, not a lot of guys really know how great an OL guy is unless they've played against or with, etc

Just glad Darren Sproles made the list, my biggest ? was Hakeem Nicks seemed too low imo when I saw them come out and figured it was just a shortage of WRs on the list possibly but then Desean got ranked

Re: NFL Network: Top 100 Players In 2012

Apparently, there are 13 quarterbacks on this list. 3 have already been revealed (Tebow, Romo, Flacco). I'm pretty sure Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, E. Manning, Newton, Rivers ... and maybe P Manning are on the countdown somewhere.

Leaving Petyon off the list, that means there are 3 slots left. 3 slots and names like Michael Vick, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, and Jay Cutler still out there. That means Tim Tebow made this list over one of those guys. I didn't even include Ryan Fitzpatrick, or Matt Schaub (injuries), both of whom I'd take over Tebow, but does anyone think Tim Tebow is a better at his job than any of those guys who could be left off?

And I'm not talking potential, I'm talking right here right now (which is what this list is supposed to be), would anyone take Tebow right now over any of those guys on the proverbial bubble?
