I like their dark alot better than their white...In my opinion, the only team in the league that has great looking white jerseys are the Seattle Seahawks.

I can't remember the last time I saw the Saints wear their white jerseys at home.

Growing up there were two teams that wore white at home, the Redskins and the Cowboys.

The number seems to have fluctuated greatly recently. I know that some southern teams like to wear white because they feel that when their opponents wear their dark jerseys in the heat it gives them a disadvantage.

The reason though is nothing more than preference. If they either prefer the jersey more or feel it gives them a strategic advantage, they are going to choose it.

Saints did it a few times last year.

Jaguars used to wear white at home during day games, now they've decided to always wear teal at home to better sell their product.

The Pats have mixed in a few games with white at home in recent years.

The Jets wore white at home at least once last year.

I'm not doubting it, I just don't remember it and that is one that surprises me.

Re: Why do some teams only wear white jerseys at home?

When Dan Reeves took over the Broncos in the early 80's, he tried changing the Broncos to wearing white at home (Dallas influence I'm sure). Needless to say, it didn't take.

Personally, I wouldn't like it as a fan. Most teams wear their colored jersery at home. Therefore if your team wears white at home, it's most likely wearing white on the road as well. Seems like their would be a lot of monotony to that.

The Steelers always wear black at Heinz Field, but they wore white in the Super Bowl a few years ago despite being designated the home squad. They had won all their games on the road to get there, so they wore white because of superstition I suppose.

A friend of mine (Steelers fan) says that every Super Bowl they have won was while wearing the white and lost the only time they wore black.

I remember teams wearing white at home allot in the 80's. In fact i think the entire AFC East wore white at home.
