Pro Football>MNF: Falcons @ Saints (Week 8)
xxplosive1984 06:01 PM 11-02-2009
Honestly, I think an NO blowout awaits us. Falcons secondary is in for the fight of their life. I just don't see how they can contain NO's aerial assault. The Falcons do have tough run D, so if they can have a decent day in the secondary, they may have a chance. Just a chance.

Side question: Would you take Saints -12?

I think the Falcons will keep it close, they aren't bad enough to be blown out by 12 or more in my opinion.

Strange enough I actually like the Falcons in this one.

Really? I'm still on the fence on this one. The Saints have beaten every team this year by 12 or more points. It's hard to go against that. It should be a good game. Falcons secondary is the key though. If they make NO run the ball, they will win.

My theory is eventually they will have a game where they are not as sharp and that almost happened their last game against Miami. Division Rivalry games are usually tight, as both teams are familiar with each other. I think Atlanta has the horses to keep up. I'm expecting big days from Roddy White, and Tony Gonzalez.

Hope Brees has a great game. He's on my fantasy team

Nervous about this one. It's the best Saints team we've faced in years. Part of me thinks tonight might be a let down game for them and the other part says it's going to get ugly for my Falcons.

Either way, I look forward to a NFC South showdown on MNF.

Me too. It should be a great game. No major injuries either from what I've been hearing. So it should be both teams at their best.

EDIT: Saints DT Sedrick Ellis out 4-6 MCL Sprain (D'oh)

Falcons upset the Saints tonight. I'm calling it right now.
