Should be interesting if fans follow through, will look awful with an empty stadium on MNF, but would send a message (that won't change anything).

I dunno, this would have to be so massively coordinated. I doubt you'll get a totally empty stadium to start the game but i'm sure there'll be a ton of empty seats....Except that's not TOO bad. I've seen Raptors games after halftime where half the seats (especially facing the camera) are all empty because everyone has gone out for concessions and what have you.

Nonetheless this should be interesting. I think a better thing to do is just don't go to the game AT ALL. Now that would send an even better message.

What would be even better is if they somehow pulled off having everyone wear paper bags on their heads. So when your watching the game all you see is paper bag heads in the crowd.

1- The Browns have absolutely no business having a Monday Night Football game this season.

2- I like the idea in theory, but what would it really accomplish? Instead of showing up five minutes late wouldn't it send a better message not to buy tickets and/or attend the games at all?

I don't get it. If you want to send a message why bother going to the game at all? Seems like you should just stay at home instead of showing up late.

Absolutely. Why give the owner that you dislike so much even more of your time or hard earned money? The economy is bad everywhere right now and is especially bad here in Cleveland. There are much better things to spend your money on than supporting a perennial losing football franchise with no shot at contention in sight.

Who the hell decided to give the Browns a MNF game?

Seriously. That is the biggest joke of all in this thread. How the hell does a team that was 4-12 last year not only appear on MNF but actually get to HOST a game? Ridiculous.

Showing up late/leaving early will only make Browns fans look like Los Angeles sports fans... only more drunk.

MNF games are determined by teams that made the playoffs. That's the formula they've always used. It just so happens that the Ravens play the Browns. It's a turd matchup but that's what happens when MNF is no longer the crown jewel and the best primetime games (on paper at least) are on NBC.
