Re: Week 8 Monday Night: Falcons @ Saints

If the Saints win this game, they'll be 10-0 going into the game against New England in week 12. I don't know who's going to stay undefeated longer.. the Colts? or the Saints? The Broncos probably won't be undefeated much longer as they have a tough stretch of games coming up. But I bet it's the Saints seeing as how the Colts have the Pats and Ravens in weeks 10 and 11.

As far as this game, Brees will most likely throw for 300+ with 3-4 TD's against Atlantas poor secondary. And I really can't see the Saints losing at the Super Dome on Monday Night against an inferior team. Saints win 38-27.

I hope the Saints win by a score of say 42-17.

I am hoping new orleans breaks the points scored record so all the media morons who went orgasmic over New England in 07 for it will not even give 1/5th the same coverage of it acting like if they get say 600 pts it is ho-hum.

I would love for the Saints to go 16-0 and then face the Colts in the Sb...who also go 16-0. hehehe, what a dream that would be.

After what Miles Austin did to the Falcons, I sense another 40+ points coming from the Saints. 49 - 17

You know I just realized that today. I was watching SportsCenter earlier and as of right now the Saints offense has more points through 6 games than the Patriots did through 6 games in 2007. Basically the Saints are on pace to break the single season points record that the Patriots set in 2007. Well I just found it quite interesting how no one is even mentioning it really. The media isn't all over the Saints like they were all over the Patriots in 07.

Division rivals == different ball game. We all know that when its the division its a better game no matter how bad the teams are.

Sleep on Matt Ryan if you want to. Though I would sleep on our secondary....

I will always believe in any given Sunday clause in football.

No it's not a different ball game. The Falcons were able to win last year by throwing **** up against our garbage secondary. If Ryan throws up horrible passes like he did last year he's going to be picked off and your horrible defense isn't going to all of a sudden get better because it's a division game.

Boy now I remember why I do not like Aints fans. Ill take throwing crap up and winning more than throwing pretty picks and losing any day of the week... If i wanted pretty picks I would root for the panties... erm panthers. If you look past the Falcons you could get burned.

In reality though I expect to lose Monday and get revenge in the Dome later this year.

He was able to throw it up and win a game last year because we had Jason David and Kevin Kaesviharn, among others, starting in the secondary. He better not try that against Darren Sharper, Tracy Porter, or Jabari Greer or it'll get picked off.
