Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

I've never seen a player eating on the sidelines before. At first I was kinda like WTF when I saw this, but after I thought about it, I was like that's not too crazy. I mean if you're hungry you gotta eat, right? In fact, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. Is there a rule against it or something? I just can't believe this is the first time I've ever seen something like this.

Charles Haley circa Cowboys used to eat sunflower seeds on the sidelines.

I don't see a problem with it. Some guys gas out or can't eat before games and need some kind of nurishment.

You'd think you would see more of this. In baseball you see this all the time.. usually not hot dogs, but sunflower seeds, peanuts, gum, etc. But that's the first time I've seen someone eat something on the sidelines of an NFL game. There has to be some sort of rule since Mark Sanchez was trying to hide it. lol. No other reason he'd be trying to sneak a hot dog if it wasn't against the rules.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. That would also explain why we don't see more of this. Well, I guess we'll find out soon enough. You know the Neverending Fines League won't let him off the hook if it IS against the rules.

The only thing that's funny is the fact that it's just a normal dirty dog that everyone in the stadium can get. In this day in age you'd think they'd have some "SUPER PROTEIN ENERGY BARS" to eat.
