Wow thats rough. First the starting NT and now their starting RB. It might be a long season for the Jets this year if they get any more key long term injuries. I know SD is feeling it greatly.

I know what season ending injuries are like. The Redskins are basically missing their whole line with Thomas and Samuels out. Both rated about 90 in this years Madden if you don't know who they are.(though Madden ratings can be off)

Had to have surgery in Oakland. Bone went through the skin. Yuck.

I knew it was bad as soon as I saw the injury. Greene looked good replacing him, but Leon was still the most explosive player on the team. Going to miss him on kick returns.

This really hurts. Jets are dropping like flies out there, it's starting to get ridiculous.

Ouch... it's going to be tough to replace Washington's explosiveness on offense and special teams. Hopefully he fully recovers for next season. My hat goes out to the Jets team... still rooting for them to go to the playoffs since one of my brother's a Jets fan. First Jenkins, now Washington... good luck, guys.

I'd be surprised if this injury isn't career threatening.

Hoping I'm wrong though.

Bone injuries should be easier to come back from than knee injuries, no?

Definitely, but at this point do we know the full extent of the injury?

I am basing my thoughts off of nothing more than what it looked like on the field.
