Santonio Holmes now owns that distinction.

Re: Greatest Catch in NFL History

lol, yeah no way it's the greatest in NFL history. I'm not even sure I'd call it the greatest in playoff or superbowl history but it was one hell of a catch. He should've caught the one before. Two amazing passes by Ben in a row.

Did MassNole forget David Tyree's catch?

I was caught up in the euphoria myself, but this SB and players in it are the flavors of the month.

The peking order of greatness regarding plays that are being called "The Catch" around here goes like this, IMO:

-Dwight Clark
-David Tyree
-Santonio Holmes

Even though I am a giant Joe Montana Montana Fan, No way Dwight's Catch was better than Tyree's.

Re: Greatest Catch in NFL History

It was a nice catch, but not even close to the Greatest.
