SI Playoff Projections

This was a good read, a few very big surprises on there. First, they have the Saints making a huge run to take the South, while every other South team not making the playoffs, even the currently 8-2 Panthers. Another thing, the way the Giants are playing, I doubt they lose 3 more games on the year. Their probably looking at 13-3 at worst, I'd say 14-2. Not much in the way of surprises in the AFC. In the NFC though, they have 3 teams finishing 5-1 to make playoffs. That would be Cowboys, Skins, and Saints.

They will be doing this every week, should be a good read and see results from week to week.

Re: SI Playoff Projections

That is just absurd. There is no way the Saints will make the playoffs. No way.

Re: SI Playoff Projections

10-6 wouldn't be so bad, in fact that would be good for a team with a new Starting QB under center.

But at this point, the way we've been playing, I'm just taking it one week at a time. The only teams I see that pretty much have their divisions wrapped up are Arizona and Tennessee.

I disagree with a couple of the final results for games but overall, don't think it's too bad. I think he went a little crazy with Denver but otherwise not too bad.

Re: SI Playoff Projections

For those interested, here is the week 13 projections. Nothing is changed in the NFC, in the AFC you got a seed change, and a new team in, which if you know the outcome of the Phins/Pats game last week, you can figure that one out.

Hmm SI also projected a 5-1 finish for Dallas, just like me...

Looks like we're also in good shape for that Eagles/Patriots Super Bowl that SI predicted. Ditto for that Georgia/Ohio State BCS Title game.
