Titans vs. Jets

The Titans are favored by 6 over the Jets. What do ya'll think about this one?

I could see the Titans losing right here.

dude, do me a favor, change your avatar, step away from the keyboard, and go finish your lunchables.

In any case, this will be a very entertaining game, I havent watched 1 Jets game this year. I met the whole Jets team last year and got autographs, I have a hat signed by the whole team. It will be ser on fire (amongst other things) prior to kickoff. I'll be sure to post pics.

Titans 31- Jets 17 Both teams have late TD's so it will be 24-10 down the stretch

Game of the week.

If the Jets D-Line can get to Kerry Collins early and often, the Jets win.

That is simply the key to the game IMO.

Titans 17
Jets 27

Titans don't win anything easy. Even with help from Favre, unless ints are taken back to the house, they'll still run, use the clock, etc. I think the Titans win but by less than a td.

well its only happened twice this year. Our average win margin is 11 points, only twice have we won by less than a TD and only 4 times total have we won by less than 10. Like I have said I havent watched the Jets, but in the last 6 games or so, they beat up on the Rams, Lost to the Raiders, barely beat the Chiefs, and barely beat the Pats. Im not trying to say that barely beating anyone is any less of a win than blowing them out, my point is that they are playing with the bottom teams in the league pretty much. Besides the Rams, they have had a hard time against the other bottom teams, and they beat the Pats so they are for real? The dolphins beat the Pats, and beat the raiders, and they beat the Pats convinceingly where is their love?

Im looking into some things and I dont see where the Jets get immediate consideration to even challenge the Titans. Maybe a Jets fan can square me away but I hope your whole gameplan isnt to get to Collins, it really isnt a good gameplan, Collins has been sacked fewer times than any QB in the League.

And the Jets are 3rd in the NFL (2nd in the AFC behind Pittsburgh) in Sacks. And they rarely blitzed the Pats last week as not to give up big yards to Randy Moss.

You're damn right that should be the Jets gameplan.

Oh.

Hopefully Leon Washington will be the x-factor.

The Jets pass defense is pourous so that worries me. But once we get pressure on the QB, they get frisky which is why pressure up front is so important.

Me thinks that Collins can get rattled

Re: Titans vs. Jets

The Titans are a little banged up on defense: Nick Harper, Kyle Vanden Bosch, and Jason Jones. We're going to have some issues with Favre if Harper is out again, and Chris Carr has to cover Cotchery / Coles --- at that problem is only going to be compounded if we're missing pass rushers like Vanden Bosch. I liked this matchup better a few weeks ago... will be watching the injury report as we get closer to gametime.
