Official OS NFL Suicide Pool '08 - Discussion

You can discuss your picks for each week, or anything else regarding the pool, in this thread.

I'm going with my hometown Eagles as my preliminary Week 1 choice. Of the teams favored by at least a touchdown in Week 1, they seem least likely to be an obvious pick in another week.

Pittsburgh looks good too, but Houston's knocked me out in Week 1 of the suicide pool at least three times, so screw them. I've learned my lesson.

I figure I should keep the really good teams until later on in the season, and I'm not up on the 'Hawks, so the Bills.

Week One is always the hardest and I don't want to waste my NE pick just yet. There really are no real slam dunk picks this week so I went with Dallas.

Well, I can't say I know too much about the NFL. I watch a lot of the games, but don't follow too close, so hopefully I can get some luck to go along with my picks.

Yeah I was gonna pick Steelers but the Texans offense is potent enough to scare me.

Atleast its not the opening week of college football, that would knock out alot of people in a single swipe lol

From looking through the picks, Eagles and Chargers I saw pop up

I went with the safe pick going with the Pats. I just want to get to Week 2! This pick may come back to haunt me in the future though.

I agree, my slam dunk pick is Patriots.
