PS3 PES 2010 Option Files (North Amer version)

Figured it made sense to start a thread on option files, to collate information as they appear on scene.

First one I've seen:

Awesome. Out of curiosity, do these emblems eat up the open spots for possible emblems (thus limiting the amount of teams we can create)? Because I think there's 40 slots for emblems (or is that incorrect?)

I would assume so, although I'm not 100% positive. In past versions of PES, there was limited slot capacity.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I think there's 40 slots for emblems so if you do EPL and La Liga you're left with 14 slots (and you still have the Other Team A-R = 18 slots) so I guess 4 teams you create wouldn't have emblems.

In that case I'm assuming you just get the Name/Abbreviations on the scoreboard...

Figure I'll ask this here since you seem to have more experience with this:

New scoreboards or adboards around the stadium can only be done for the PC? Or is there a way to do them for the PS3?

EDIT:

If anything I'll probably just change the names of the teams and leave most emblems alone. Creating the new teams has always been pretty awesome. At least you have pretty much unlimited capacity for kit sponsors.

I haven't fiddled around with editing options on the new version of the game, but in previous versions the number of available badge slots was dependent on the overall size/quality of the pngs. Editors were typically able to fill out all the team slots with badges by simply using smaller pngs. I'd expect the same this time around.

Yeah, adboards are editable only via PC editing.

I wouldn't do too much editing on your own, because I expect there to be better (ie, more advanced -- no disrespect to the OFs already available) option files coming down the pike from folks who are quite adept at PES editing. It's just a question of how long they'll take to get off the ground.

I'm not sure. On the other site it says PS3...

Followed the instructions but somehow still disabled trophies. Had to delete everything and retry. Will try to do the Pro Debut trophy just to test it out.

Make sure you delete the edit data and then copy it over. Don't try and overwrite it. I think that is what is causing the problem. Also, I didn't copy over the system data.

Nah those are for ps3.

For 360, go to this link:
http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=73963

I got the them from the same guys for the 09 version also, they do a pretty solid job considering it's 360. The correct rapidshare link is in post 4, his original post had an invalid link.

ps3 has to worry about being the right version, ntsc or pal. But they can create the pixel images pretty easily on their computer.

for 360 we dont have to worry about that, they work for both versions. the only problem with 360 is that for non modded 360s, you can only create the graphics with your live camera and in game pixel edtor (rather than importing images like ps3.) I've done a few, it is VERY hard work.

The only thing i noticed with this version 1 is that the generic team full names arent done, but their abbreviation is. If you cant tell the team name by the logo and abbreviation, they are listed out on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PES_2010) about halfway down. 18 premier league and 8 la liga teams.

Sweet. Can you explain the bold in more detail please?
