CNG has posted some Pro Evolution Soccer 9 screenshots. Read it and weep.

These are probably fake unfortunately. I doubt they would change the branding from Winning Eleven/PES to PES2008 then to PES09. To much confusion.

Will there be a "doesn't suck" mode this year, or will I be playing WE9 for yet another year?

I actually really enjoyed this version except for the goalies. They give up too many rebounds on long shots.

Other than that i thought it was very comprable to we9.

I also think that these are real shots. they look authentic to me.

eh, even if they're real, they don't really show anything other than the fact that you can edit logos again.

Man I hope so. PES2008 is doo doo. Yeah you can compensate for most of it's problems, but then it just doesn't feel like PES.

Hopefully they'll make major improvements.
