If Dallas doesn't go 3-1 this week something is seriously wrong (which wouldn't surprise me because something has been wrong all year lol).

If Crash is OK then I can see us going 2-1, otherwise, 1-2, 0-3 sounds about right.

If Boston can go 1-1 against @ Heat and vs Atlanta. I like our chances to hold onto the Atlantic Division for that 4 seed.

Make or break for the Mavs this week, all against "ehh" teams but all teams that have beaten them recently and beaten them the last time they played, Sacramento at home, and Golden State and Portland on a road back to back. Anything less than 2-1 is unacceptable.

Re: NBA Game Discussion Thread Apr 9th - Apr 15th

So, I remember seeing Skip Bayless tweet about D. Rose and his lack of a "clutch gene" and I kinda passed it off as Skip being Skip. But then I started thinking about the clutch situations he's been in, particularly at the line, and it got me wondering...

Is Derrick Rose TRULY a clutch player? Has he more or less proven that he'll come up big, or is he more likely to fall short or *gasp* let the team down?

I say this because he has a history or problems at the line when it comes to pressure situations. The missed FT at Memphis is well documented, and the two misses against the Knicks is fresh in people's minds. But there have been other "low-profile" situations between these dates. There's one earlier this year I think where he missed 2 against the Heat with the chance to take the lead. Another one that came to my mind was a situation in 2010 when the Bulls were playing the Clips. He had to make 2 FTs to send the game into OT and he made the first and missed the second, and there wasn't any time left on the clock, so the Clips escaped with the win.

Now, I know Rose has clutch ability somewhere in him, as I've seen him make game-winning shots multiple times again. I'm just saying, is it wrong for me as a Bulls fan to be concerned about Rose in late game situations in the PLAYOFFS, where (A) FTs are critical and (B) games will most likely be close, and he's gonna command a team's best defender?

Also, what are you guys' opinion on Iman Shumpert as a defender, especially after the performance he put on yesterday? Is he a top 5/10/20 defender, even as a rookie? Would he deserve to be on an All-Defensive team?

I'm not too familiar with the requirements, so to speak, that would get a guy considered, but all I've been hearing is how great of a defender he is, and he certainly showed that.
