Team USA 2012

If Russell makes the team, he's surely going to play the 2 with CP3/Deron/Rose on the team.

Right now I have it:

Chris Paul
Dwayne Wade
LeBron
Kevin Durant
Dwight Howard
Kevin Love
Melo
Derrick Rose
Blake Griffin
LaMarcus Aldridge
Deron Williams

If Kobe wants to play, the spot is his. If not it will probably go to Andre or Russell.

Blake's spot can probably go to Bosh or Tyson. LaMarcus should be a lock cause his game is perfect for the International game. Also, him and Kevin can give minutes at the 5 when Dwight needs a rest.

Not really huge for this year, but could impact the future: Kyrie Irving may declare for the Aussies this year.

Billups and Odom are two easy cuts. I bet Gordon, Gay, Iggy, and Westbrook go after that. I can't choose between Aldridge, Chandler, Griffin, and Rose.

I hope he does! I mean Kyrie & Bogut duo would be very interesting to watch. Plus throw in Patty Mills as well! Obviously not enough talent compared to team USA or Spain but hey maybe a possible contender for bronze possibly?

Bryant was referring to teammate Pau Gasol who has already committed to the Spanish national team, which Bryant and the rest of USA Basketball beat in the gold medal game at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

I don't understand why he wants to be on the Australian national team, he moved away when he was only 2. Maybe its because his dad played professionally there or something.

or, it could be with that whole "Derek Rose, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, and John Wall are all Americans" thing.

I don't think Kyrie cares where he plays, but he could declare for either nation.
