Danny Granger.....

Told ya he'd be an all-star.....

24.6 PPG (5th in the NBA last time I checked)
5.4 RPG
2.6 APG (his playmaking and passing is definitely getting better)
1.7 BPG
46% FG
85% FT
He shoots 37% from three but he also takes a lot of three's.....actually too many for my liking......He definitely needs to work on his shot selection but he secretly has one of the best mid-range jumpers in the league...

He's a good dude, doesn't complain and he's a team player....One of the best all around players in the league and its only his 4th year....

I honestly thought he would be a good player but I never thought he'd be this good and able to play D like he does....I love having him on the Pacers...

Re: Danny Granger.....

Maybe, but he still doesn't strike me as anything that special.

Hate to rain on parades.. but yeah I've never thought that highly of him.

Pacer fans, how's his defense? I know he can score.

I don't think he'll ever be a franchise type player, All-Star maybe though.

Re: Danny Granger.....

Scoring #'s are inflated since Mike is out hurt. But Danny has been playing well

I always felt the same way about Rudy Gay. Only difference is that I see a competitiveness in Gay that could give him an edge to be more than just a scorer. In Danny's case, I don't know enough about him. He's definitely putting up the numbers, but I haven't seen him do anything killer.

Re: Danny Granger.....

Granger is a better rebounder than most small forwards, has more range, and better handles than most power forwards, but he doesn’t really have the body or the skill-set of either position.

That said, he is a great scorer and he would be worthy of an All Star invitation.

Re: Danny Granger.....

He's competitve. These games they are winning in the 4th trailing, he's a large part of that. Saw a game earlier he looked sicked literally because they lost, plus the whole two front teeth knocked out and continued to ball thing. He's a good on ball defender, and has a lot of ways to score. I'm really liking his game right now.

I like him, I think they need another superstar behind him and he's Batman for that team right now.

Re: Danny Granger.....

Judging from the responses, he's going to stay underrated a while longer. Hes going to need a playoff appearance or some national tv exposure. Until then you're preaching to atheists.

I'm not going to repeat how much that draft pissed me off. I wanted the Raptors to take him badly
