Well this year Luke doesn't play at all. Last year he was basically the 6th man. Lakers didn't get Ariza til later in the year before getting hurt.

Last year: Vlad, Mo, Farmar, Walton, Sasha, Turiaf, Kwame/Cook
This year: Odom, Ariza, Farmar, Sasha, Powell/Mihm

They still did well because of their bench last year. I think they had the best bench in the league last year.

One... what's in it for the Rockets... and Two... teams can't just trade for star players on a whim... there has to be a rhyme and reason for it.

Ok man
All 12 Lakers disappeared pretty much in he Finals.

I believe so. Lamar can't play PF against starting PFs in the league. He can't guard KG and he can't be depended upon to score or be aggressive that way. Now he's doing something he's great at: being versatile and creative within the flow of the offense and supplementing more assertive players.

PJ got outcoached.. but it's hard to say if Mac would have made that difference. Would he have helped? Yea. This year however the Lakers don't need him. If it happened, sure I'd be happy, but it's not a need. Plus when will Mac get healthy?
