I dont know if it just took him longer to develop, or if it was Avery's system in Dallas, or what?
My friend who saw him play a lot at Wisconsin said he was a surprisingly bad shooter with the Mavs. Looking at stats, he actually is shooting at a lower percentage from both FG and 3P than he did in Dallas but that might be because of his slump at the beginning of the season.

I think the main reason he is playing this well is because the Nets developed a new dribble drive offense around him. He's so quick that he draws fouls and goes to the line at an incredible rate. He also has a devastating step back jumper that has been lights out over the past few games.

Harris has never been a #1 or #2 option on offense until this year. Harris's career shooting percentage is better and you have to consider that Gilbert Arenas will never be the same player again.

Whats up with people dissing other people's threads?

First we see it with the "best player so far this season" thread, now this one..

the point of a message board is to discuss relevant point guard. These types of posts are always done anyways, so i don't see why it's a big issue.

Derrick Rose is heating up though...enjoy it now.

However, is this a PG by position or PG leading your team in assists?

Lebron is averaging more assists and points.

The fact that you even mentioned Lebron James and compared him to D Harris says a lot about how much better he has become. I wish him the best and hope he can keep it up.

The best part? We extended him long-term to under-market value for what he has turned into this year.

I thought Chicago made a mistake by selecting him first, boy was I wrong. All the hype about him pre-draft was legit. Next season he could become an elite PG.

Re: Devin Harris is the best scoring PG in the Association

"The Dude" just continues to play at a high rate. I definitely didn't expect scoring outbursts like these on a consistent basis.

That DD Offense Frank installed has definitely done wonders for us this year(Still want him gone though)

I think it's safe to say that so far this season, he is the best PG in the East right NOW and that the only PG playing at a higher level than him in CP3.

Rose is doing good so far as expected but he still makes the occasional rookie mistakes but with time and experience, he'll be a stud real soon.

As for Arenas-No Comment.
