LeBron James vs. Charles Barkley in 3rd grade insult fest....

Whats stunning in all this is that the Cavs keep winning.

If LBJ is not mature enough to understand that this is Barkley being Barkley, and the message actually holds with it advice that will do him and his team well, then someone close to LBJ who is a little more grounded should point this out.

All this 2010 nonsense needs to be shut down now. I do believe the Cavs are capable of doing something special this season and this nonsense can only be an anchor to the progress they're making. If LBJ really does only care about winning then the next thing he says publicly about 2010 is that he won't comment on it until 2010.

LeBron James has no intention of turning away from the media circus surrounding his "imminent" free agency when the New York media show up to cover the Knicks on Tuesday. "I'm going to answer the questions whenever they come, but it's not such a big deal to me," he said. "They're going to come, and as soon as I say I'm not going to talk about it anymore, that's when they're really going to come, so I'm going to answer them and move on like I've been doing."

He's just playing with the fans in 2010. I bet sold more merch in both Cleveland and NYC since this has started. LeBron is all about the money, so why not keep playing with one of his largest target markets?

Yeah, like OSU said, that's what he's been saying. People just keep asking over and over, and if you rephrase it, they take "how" you said it out of context.

The only point I disagree on, is I think he really is more "wait and see" than anything else. If something happens in Cleveland...and injury, a sudden decline, controversy, he'll bounce. On the flip side, if something great is going on in NY...chemistry in D's system, other free agents looking interested, tons of cap space etc...he'll look in that direction. Two years is an eternity in sports. Two years ago the Mavs, Spurs, Suns and Detroit were the main title contenders. Now its' the Hornets, Celtics, Lakers and (fill in your team that ya'll would argue about here) that are at the top.

Not only are you wrong, but these are highly unnecessary edits even if you were right.

I already said that Barkley is right in this particular situation. Good example, but I already noted his once-in-a-blue-moon rightness.

Then again, his beef should be with Nike, not Lebron.
