Tony Parker out a month

Thought? What does this mean to the Spurs title hopes?

Unless that month is April, nothing.

All they have to do is not get the 8th seed. It shouldn't be overly difficult.

What do you mean unless it is April it doesn't matter. It is nowhere as simple as you are making it out to be. If they drop enough games during this no Manu/TP era they might not be able to recover at all

Yeah...the West is tough, pretty sure GSW didn't make the Playoffs last year by 1 game, and the Mavs were like 6 games from first and the Jazz were about 2 games from being first, correct me if i'm wrong though.

Actually they may be in a Rockets type situation, I remember last year we were going into Jan and out of the playoffs. At the pace we were winning it wasn't looking too good, then we pulled off 22 straight.

I mean they are going to lose their games with Parker and Manu out, all they can really do is beat the lower teams...which isn't going to be easy...and wait for their guys to come back...

But as JVG said...by the time they both are back the Spurs could be out of it, or at least be in a really deep hole.

Wait and see. If the Spurs lose, I will buy you a moderately priced prostitute.

Um, if Manu wasn't out for so long then I wouldn't be worried. But both TP and Manu out for a long time? Could the Spurs miss out on the postseason?? TD's been playing pretty damn good, but that supporting cast is more than suspect. Farmer, rookie point guard, Mason, Finley, Bowen, Oberto? Yuck.

Have you guys checked out exactly who Duncan has to work with?? It's not really as simple as, well as long as they make the playoffs. The west is still the west.

Re: Tony Parker out a month

Sure, Timmy's playing good ball.. but without those two in the lineup, I can see the Spurs falling out of the picture for awhile.
