I don't have a dead solid link, but the latest Pistons rumor has them getting ready to make a big push for McGrady.

not happening Psy. It's an old rumor that has popped up a couple of times since they talked about getting rid of Chauncey.

I know that one is the most recent but believe me, if there was a whimper about it, I'd be able to tell you.

Well i guess that its only been a whimper saying something like The Detroit Pistons, we hear, are making a big pitch to the Houston Rockets for perennial all-star Tracy McGrady... but that all stems from that first link i posted.

Could it be Mac for Billups/Hamilton? The salaries match up exactly at 21 million.

Houston would look scary.. Detroit would be alright too but to depend on Stuck to start at point.. Anyway that's the only possible scenario I can see.

Michigan Live: The Metro News, a Canadian news outlet, is reporting that the Detroit Pistons are trying to trade for Tracy McGrady.

July 10, Metro News: And, speaking of major trade possibilities, there's a blockbuster brewing in the NBA, too.

The Detroit Pistons, we hear, are making a big pitch to the Houston Rockets for perennial all-star Tracy McGrady.

The outlet is based in Toronto, where McGrady started his career and spent his first three seasons playing. This could be one of the deals that Dumars has been working on.
