NL East, who wins it?

The Nats are strong right now, but So are the Braves. Who do you think will take the division? I personally think the Nats will fade out and the Braves sneak in and take the division.

PS: sorry if there's a topic on this already

I don't see the Nats falling off. I think if they were going to, it would've been a long time ago.

No way I see anyone else taking that division.

Understood. But Harper has fallen off as of late, and they will cut off Strasburg sometime in September

Nationals have a pretty decent lead on the Braves right now, the two play 6 more games against each other.
Braves go 4-2, then they still need to make up 3 more games I believe to tie with the Nationals.
If the Nationals shut down Strasburg, Braves have a good shot. If they don't, I give the Nationals the lead.

Braves, Since The Nats will be making the worst decision in the history of the franchise. Shutting Down Strasburg, IMO They shouldn't i don't think they'll be this good in the next 5 or so years. A Strasburg/Harper Combo will only take you so far. So. So. Far.

Harper has been struggling lately. If I'm Strasburg, and they were to shut me down, especially in the situation there in. I would tell them, "I'll just save my arm for another team". And walk out like a boss.

Don't get me wrong though, the Nats are playing strong ball right now, but I don't think they will hold it through the end of September. And the Braves won't settle for a collapse like last year.

I've been waiting all season for the Nats to start struggling and it hasn't happened yet, so I don't really expect them to now. I just hope the Braves can beat them good in the head to head matchups and make it interesting.

I have faith that the Braves can catch them. The Nats been hot for a while now. It's gotta die out soon or a later. I mean, we're not into September yet. There's still time

Re: NL East, who wins it?

I got Nats all the way even if they shut down Strasburg. They got too much pitching.

Re: NL East, who wins it?

I thought the Nats would fade off after the all-star break. That hasn't happened, and I don't see it happening at this point.

Shutting down Strasburg helps, but that will only end up being a 3-4 game swing if the Nats lose every start he would have pitched to end the season.
