BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK to the dugout with zero homeruns.

Maybe these captains will learn to pick a home team guy from now on.

I love my city so much. I never thought the booing Cano thing would be as awesome as it was.

In all fairness, all three of Robby's picks advanced to the second round, and are all worthy of being there. Everyone but himself did. Are you suggesting that he opted himself out? Can he even do that and still remain captain?

It's the National League guys who are failing. CarGo was the only one I had faith in, but he was top-spinning everything. Beltran can stay in just by backspinning it, but I don't think he has anything on the AL guys.

By the way, what was ESPN thinking only giving the HRD a two hour slot? Maybe it could finish in that amount of time, but there was a lot of pre-game in there beforehand. Will this cut out of the celebrity/legends softball game, or will they still show it afterward? I hope SportsCenter doesn't just get to take over thereafter.

I say next year we just get Harper, Stanton, and whoever for the NL next year. AL seems to have been solid this year

I'd just like to see the home team guy in the derby. The derby really doesn't have any value (yet) other than entertainment value for the fans. It's really exciting to see your guy at your own ballpark. It gives them one guy to really rally behind. Last year, Fielder really should have picked Upton. (Especially in hindsight.)
