Man so sad for lance Berkman. Torn acl and his career might be over. On the cardinals side we are really struggling right now, with ball games and injuries. Hope we can turn this around as the pitching has really taken a dive.

Re: 5/21 - 5/27 Game Discussion Thread

Well here's where things get interesting as Brett Lawrie comes off of suspension but Yan Gomes has played so well that they can't just send him down. There's going to be some juggling of the lineup i'm sure.

Anyways the Jays visit the Rays and Rangers....."sigh" This could either be a pleasant surprise or a tough couple of series. They then come back home to take on the O's so the murderous stretch continues for them.

Is it me or is there just a huge rash of injuries this year, lots of ACL/knee injuries too, off the top of my head I can think of Alex Gonzalez, Matt Gamel, Wilson Ramos, Geovany Soto, to include Lance Berkman, and that is just a list of guys who suffered knee injuries.

4 with Atlanta than 3 with Colorado.
Would be amazing if they could go 5-2.

Yeah a real bummer. I've always been a big Berkman fan. Hate to see an injury potentially end a career like that.

Who replaces him? Allen Craig?

Home series with the Rockies(3 games) and Giants(4 games) this week, see if the Marlins can stay hot in May.

Craig is on the dl also. Right now looks like its James Allen. We can spot with carpenter and Cruz I guess

Good news Cards fans. Looks like Berkman just tore his meniscus and not his ACL. He will have it scoped soon and could be back in 6-8 weeks.
