2004 was the last great postseason IMO...both of the LCS's had epic moments and even though I hated the result of the World Series, it was pretty significant.

I honestly don't think I'll thoroughly enjoy a postseason unless the Orioles are involved or the Red Sox/Yankees aren't.

The WS isn't bad but isn't spectacular either, however if the Phils win game 6 then this thread will be over. On Monday, I switched between the WS & MNF because there's only so much Buck/McCarver I can tolerate and I've about met my maximum.

i think the seriers has been good this year. of course it would be better if the rangers were in it

I actually watched Raw over the game and just flipped over during commercials.

and for the record, comparing it to 01 and saying anything less is boring just isnt fair... you said it yourself op... 01 was EPIC

the 01 WS may be the best series in the history of baseball... I dont think its a stretch to make that argument (and it kills me cause i'm a Yankees fan)

Pretty difficult to argue against the 1991 World Series, methinks.
