The Angels also aren't the Angels of the ALCS. Those same Angels also played even with the Yankees all season.
My point is that the season doesn't matter right now. The Phillies could go ahead and sweep the Yanks or vice versa. What happened three months ago isn't even in anyone's head that's wearing a baseball cap or batting helmet when they step on the field. It's about right now.

I agree Yank..... I would not be surprised if a sweep happened either way. I just don't want at the end to have any inclination to say that a particular umpires strike zone or bumbling in-field abilities to have a profound effect on any one game, let alone the entire series.
No way this series ends in a sweep or in game 5. I say phillies in 6. Howard MVP. a-rod 0-30. I hate both teams but there's more yankee "fans" over here than phillie fans so yeah. Either way it should be on hell of a world series. Hope we see a lot of bombs.

It all starts with a battle of former Indians cy youngs :-). Just shows how Cleveland is basically a "AAAA" team. They even go out and hire the cheaper manager. Phillies win in 6 games and get back to back world series championships. Game 1 will be a 2-0 Phillies win.

I like the Yankees in 5. They're now 59-24 since the all-star break (translates to 115 over a full season) and we haven't even seen them play at their best in the postseason yet. I like that Phillie team a lot but the Bombers are steamrolling down the stretch with the finish line in sight. May the best team win.
