It is my money when I go to a game and have to spend close to 50 bucks to watch them from the nose bleeds and have some grub.

If ERA+ was a be all end all stat you would be right. However, Sabathia also threw more innings and had superior peripherals which I didn't post because I'm lazy. With the ERA+ being so close between the two, I don't see how you can't say he was at least Santana's equal.

I don't use ERA+ as the be all of stats, though. You did. And your stat showed that Santana pitched better.

As I've said before, Sabathia has been disgusting the past three seasons, but Santana has been doing this consistently year in and year out for a longer period than three years.

Sabathia won a Cy Young Award over Santana in 2007, but I don't think awards automatically make someone the best at anything. It's an award.

I'll agree that they were at the very most equals for the past two seasons.

don't get to excited yet, wang will likely get hurt again, burnett is always hurt it seems when he isn't playing for a new contract and chamberlain could be spending time in the drunk tank

How will Wang likely get hurt again? I could understand if it was a shoulder or elbow injury that sidelined him and could recur, but he hurt his foot on a completely fluky play running the bases.
