That is funny.

Mostly because, the Yankees do need him.

Well looks like Cash agrees with you.

He should. Their pitching rotation is not very good at all. However, CC might put them in the playoffs, but they need more than him as well. They better hurry up, because the domino's are going to fall pretty soon here.

According to ESPN he has signed. So congrats Yankee fans you got yourselves another playoff failure. I guess you are just building your team to lose in the playoffs.

CNN reported he signed as well.

Enjoy Yankee fans, he'll give you 250 innings and a 18-5 record, then will blow up in the playoffs as he has every other year of his career.

Signed,

A (still) bitter Indians fan.

I remember saying something similar though to a Cards fan when they got Mark Mulder though, so maybe you're onto something.

Actually, you can look back in my history, I've never liked the guy.

Bitter yes, but I was bitter when he was here over his stupid hat and the fact he has more physical tools than any pitcher I've seen in the last 10-15 years, but just doesn't care. Came into every Spring Training 10lbs overweight and just never seemed to really get into the season until a month or 2 in.

I've never been a big fan, and Indians fans here and friends outside of OS have given me S for it for years.

And now even more bitter because he went to the Yankees, and somehow will turn around his post season troubles (which look at 2 years ago with us and last year with Milwaukee, he's terrible come playoffs)...probably against us ala Pedro Martinez.

LOL, well as a Yankee fan by marriage, I hope you're right about turning around his postseason struggles. But knowing the Yankees' luck in signing free agent pitchers, he'll throw a grand total of 100 innings next season.

From the rumors I hear, the Yankees are going to have one hell of a staff if they sign Burnett and Sheets. But, then you have to look at their injury problems and the amount of innings CC has on that arm. If healthy, that's one fantastic staff. But if it snow balls...that's 120 million doing nothing.
