Yes, but even if he does, wouldn't he still keep the Yankees offer on the table just to get the Dodgers or the Giants to go a little higher with their offers?

I think the Yanks know C.C. would prefer NOT to play for them... but i agree with the idea that they'll keep bidding to make other teams spend more... it makes perfect sense.

Giants yes, Dodgers no. Dodgers won't offer that much for C.C. imo, which is why i believe the Giants are up there with the Yanks at THIS moment. We'll just have to wait and see what happens if and when the Dodgers start talking.

If Sabathia does not sign with the Cubs (wishful thinking I know) I would much rather see him go to the Dodgers over the Yanks or Giants. He has a better chance of being on a winning team with LA as opposed to SF. If he is not looking to get the largest deal I think it is a very strong chance he will end up in LA since he is from California anyway.
