I think he meant the Angels since they were always a favorite for Tex and it's long been said that they can not afford both Sabathia and Texeira.

I think Yanks are no more interested in acquiring CC. sabathia.... earlier both Mets and Yanks showed inevitable interest in him and widespread the talk.. and now when Mets have said clearly that they don't want Sabathia.. now Yanks are also hanging this matter

It's probably because they realize that CC doesn't want to play there. I could have told them that.

The Yankees made a big splash offer and it's been two weeks now, right? Yea, if a guy is still waiting to see what California teams are offering then you have to start realizing it's because he wants to play in Cali.

No hate for CC. He should go to Cali. He'll make 100 million+ and he'll be happy.

About time the Yankees start concentrating on other free agents.

I do have to laugh, though. I'm a Yankees fan, but I do enjoy the fact that the Yankees can't just sign anyone. So tired of hearing Yankees fans talk it up about how they'll sign everyone on the planet and that Tex and CC are coming to NY. New York isn't as attractive as the media makes you think.

I've also come to hear that Giants are also looking forward to CC.. but it seems that this rumor is just to give Sabathia a sense of relaxation that yes.. he's got other alternatives as well......... best of luck CC..for the Yanks..may they acquire you soon.......
