Former Cleveland Indians pitcher and broadcaster Herb Score died this morning at age 75 in his room at home in Rocky River, the Indians confirmed today.

Dang...this sucks...

My dad loves telling me stories about how awesome of a pitcher Herb was before he got hit in the face with a ball. Never the same after that and cause plenty of health problems.

I heard about this this morning. I don't know too much about him as a broadcaster but I did hear about him as a pitcher. Seemed like he was a pretty good hurler for a while there.

RIP...I remember reading about him as a kid in some book that had random sports stories. Getting jacked in the face like that was pretty wicked, I think he almost died.
