We need to stop this right here.

First: There is no deal between the Tigers and the Pirates for Wilson. Both teams have already debunked a "report" from the Newark Star Ledger was nothing but a rumor used as an actual story. Even as of this afternoon the Dodgers are also talking to the Pirates about Wilson.

Second: There is no deal as of yet between the Padres and Cardinals for Khalil Greene. MLB.com is reporting that a deal is "likely" but nothing is official yet.

If others are going to post here can we please have accuracy. Let's wait for deals to become offical and then post them.

The Detroit Tigers acquired C Gerald Laird from the Texas Rangers in exchange for minor league RHP Guillermo Moscoso and RHP Carlos Melo.

If so then i apologize to feedmeccc.
But to be fair he did post a trade that had not happend yet and another trade that was never made to begin with. Again, my apologies if i came off too harsh.

I don't think you were harsh at all. You've been at this for YEARS...certainly since MVP 2005...I remember. And I know EXACTLY what you're trying to avoid--the same mentality that permeates much of Hot Stove Baseball---rumors, innuendo and no facts...lol

Bottom line, unless it says 'traded', it AIN'T a deal.
