WS MVP: Who would you have picked??

Not everyone may agree with the MVP choice of Hamels. Who would you have chosen as the WS MVP or at least who would you have picked to share the MVP with Hamels?

How did you neglect to even make Hamels an option in the poll?

Considering Hamels was relegated to throwing mostly his fastball in game 5, I think he's the easy choice. He was only at 75 pitches, and probably would've seen at least one more inning. He was still pegged as the winning pitcher until Madson gave up the Baldelli homer in the 7th. Werth deserves some consideration, but Hamels was clearly the best player on the field in the two games he pitched.

hard not to say Hamels. If it would have gone 7, he would have pitched again, and probably won.

Congrats to the Rays, what a great season. Outside of some defensive issues, they played a rather good series.

Chooch gets my vote. Clutch hitting, stellar defense, and great game calling behind the plate.

Hamels for me, but Ruiz had a phenomenal series.

Re: WS MVP: Who would you have picked??

I think it has to go to Hamels...He did the MOST @ a high level than any other Phillie. Howard would be my second vote since he hit .286 w/ 3 HRs and 6 RBIs. You can even make a case for Werth since he was getting on base, and stealing bases too...

W/o Hamels two wins in this series are in jeopardy.

Hamels was an easy choice but if I had to pick someone else it'd be Ruiz.
