Sox will bring back Varitek before they let him go and sign Ivan Rodriguez

I don't want Carl Pavano on my team.

Think of it this way, Dave Duncan have done a great job with many pitchers who were thought to be dead and gone. Signing Pavano to a incentive laden contract wouldn't be that bad of a deal IMO.

Anyways I don't see Furcal being a Blue Jay but I do see Raul Ibanez signing with the Jays and being the DH most of the time. It's been pretty much a foregone conclusion from most Jays followers that they're going to make a run at Ibanez.

You better hope that anyone who signs Ibanez will DH him. Or else we'll get more of this.

I'm not sure with the Angels pitching depth that they will go after Sabathia.

Ben Sheets to Texas will turn into a disaster-so they will probably sign him.

Francisco Rodriguez to the Mets i can see, especially since i have said it myself a few times.

Jason Varitek likely returns to the Red Sox

Washington will never spend the money it would take to sign A.J. Burnett

I doubt that the Red Sox would sign Oliver Perez or Mike Hampton for that matter.

I'm not sure about Kerry Wood to the Angels. They have already said they would go with Jose Arredondo as the Closer if/when Rodriguez leaves. I think Wood stays with the Cubs.

Pedro Martines to Washington: see the Burnett answer.

Where would Orlando Cabrera play on the Mets?. I doubt he signs to move to 2B and the Mets already tried Jose Reyes at 2B and that didn't go too well.

C.C. is going to sign with the Giants and Cain is going to the Brewers for Fielder.

Fielder for Cain straight-up would never happen.
