so tell me how a game that can't get a screen pass correct is the benchmark for football games? Honestly, if 2k6 would have came out no one would have liked 2k5. 2k5 is overrated because it was the last one in the series. The thing is a game like Punchout is still great without all of the new mods and additions done to it. If the 2k football series was the greatest series ever, people would have noticed and it wouldn't have needed a 20 dollar price tag to get people to buy it.

Obviously they caught EA's attention and lead to the hell we now know as the exclusive license. This game is still ahead of the crap EA insists on calling Next Gen football.

Oh yeah, I'm not debating that, at all. EA is still living off innovations made on ps1. What I'm saying is the game is overrated, it's a great game and it's fun to play, but it's not like the game is perfect. The consensus on this message board is that the game is perfect and if you disagree, you're an EA fanboy. This game is on the level of MVP 05 (pc) for me. If it wasn't the last one released and if it weren't for the mods the community did, would people still think this game is great?
