Dominant Performance by TFC, but no W

PARIS - It was one of those games that made you want to scratch your head. If you look at the post game stat sheet, you would think that TFC won the game.

TFC outshot PFG 6-0, with three of the six being on target. TFC won the possesion battle 55% to 45%, they even won the foul battle for good measure. But, at the end of the night the game ended in a draw.

TFC played a perfect game - almost.

American Tyreek Green, made his professional debut coming in the game at the 61' mark, replacing Soren Larsen. He didn't seemed fazed at all by the big stage. And had two shots on goal, both shots on target, both easily saved by the PSG Goal Keeper. For a closer look at how Green fared check out his stats below.

Big showdown with the league leader. Biggest game of the year so far for the Violets. Questions are, Will they show up? Will Tyreek keep his spot on the bench? Should make for great drama in Toulouse.

Great news. Hang with it man, once you get going the game will be very rewarding I can't imagine going through a whole career and documenting everything that would be epic. Hopefully, I can do that.

TFC, Lyon finish with a Scoreless Draw

TOULOUSE - The Violets were fortunate on Saturday by getting a point versus Lyon. Lyon was the far more dominant team on the pitch, winning the time of possession battle, and out shooting TFC by a count of 6-3.

But, TFC Goalkeeper Oliver Blondel did what he needed to do, to keep a cleansheet.

Oliver Blondel was big today in net.

Tyreek Green played again for his second consecutive game. This time he was subbed in at the beginning of the 2nd half. "I should have done better. I didn't play bad, but I could have been much better." Green said.

He was unable to get a shot off, but he did play well by passing effectively and playing some timely defense. For an in depth look check out his stats below.

LIGUE 1: WEEK 15 PREVIEW / 2008-09

SRFC.gif(6-3-5, 21 PTS, 8th Place) TFC.gif(3-7-4, 16 PTS, 13th Place)

Toulouse haven't lost in 5 games, but they have had a draw in 4 out of their last 5. They need to buck the draw trend if they hope to make any significant gains in the team rankings. This match would be a good place to start.

There we go, congrats to Mr. Green for his debut and a couple of 6.5s ...

Now, hopefully TFC can get out of this scoring funk and feed him the damn ball!

That's right. He has been calling for the ball like crazy, and they just pass him up.

Oh yeah - calling for the ball, usually works best on dead balls...during the run of play...not so much. This is something I have learned.

Most of the time if I want the ball, I will rotate the view to see who is around me - then 'check to' the player with the ball.

In the box, it's different - call for it like crazy.
