i got the wii version.

So far, so good.

I will update this in the future with thoughts.

Weirdest thing so far isnt in the actual game itself, but in the menus.

Shaking the wiimote allows u to change music tracks of the game.

i go to a local mom and pop store in NY nearby where i live.
99 percent of the time, they have them in before the release date

So far, I like it. You can see the differences between the first one and this one.

However, I don't seem to be able to use my created player in Season Mode. That will suck unless I'm missing something. Also, I think you have to play a full 152 game season. That should be interesting.

Is the single player more fun to play? The stupid setup they had in the first one where I had to play games and win in certain ways took a lot of the fun out of it for me...

So far so good, I just picked it up from Gamestop (360 version)

Legendary mode looks like a solid game mode..You can tell 2k put a lot of effort into that. I wish the same effort was put into Superstar mode for EA games.

I have only played 1 regular game and 1 legendary game. It looks like the Legendary mode isn't only games..You have to play mini-games as well.

I got the xbox 360 version and am very pleased. I got in two games (one legendary and one exhibition). The one legendary game was very easy, but I am sure it will get more difficult. The one exhibition game was a ton of fun. It was Cards vs. Cubs. We were tied for most of the game. Good defense and solid offense on both sides. They won with a Big Slam at the bottom of the 7th. It was a pretty intense game. It helps that I played the demo a bunch though.

Back to the legendary mode, I played two mini games: contact hitting (timing) and defense building. Contact was pretty hard and the defense mini game was rather challenging too. You have the opportunity make legendary catches. Those were hard for me because I usually hit the wrong button.

Overall, I am very impressed. Why couldn't MLB 2k9 be this good? Well, this is proof that quality games can come out of 2k.

Game is fun, HR Pinball is pure fun as was in the first game. Love how NY has the regular announcer, Vegas has what sounds like Elvis, and in Japan the girl speaks Japanese and there's Godzilla in the background. LMAO

Lost my first game 3-1, game even plays more sim than 2K9 did LOL.

Looks better too. No Progressive Field branding though
