Bills roll over Colts, 49-10
Young Buffalo defense picks off Manning 3 times

ORCHARD PARK, NY -
The Buffalo Bills will now sit and await the result of the New England-Houston game to determine whether or not they'll be able to celebrate their first AFC East Title since 1995, as they crushed the Indianapolis Colts today, 49-10.

QB Trent Edwards, who was taken out at the start of the 4th quarter, was an efficient 11 of 13 for 189 yards and 2 TD's. HB Marshawn Lynch carried the ball 20 times for 101 yards and a TD, and backup HB Fred Jackson added 10 carries for 48 yards and 2 TD's in the ballgame.

Buffalo's defense had a field day, picking off QB Peyton Manning 3 times. Rookie DE Aaron Maybin also added to his sack total, recording his 20th sack of the season to put an exclamation mark on an outstanding rookie campaign.

The Bills finish the 2009 regular season at 13-3, and can win the division title and a first round bye either on a tiebreaker, or by New England losing to Houston later in the week. The Colts, after much promise, finish a miserable season under rookie head coach Jim Caldwell at a horrible 2-13-1.

Final score 42-14. Michael Turner was the MVP with 286 yards and a couple TD's.

Come on Isles!

Ravens 23, Raiders 20 (OT)

The Raiders starters never came on the field in an OT loss to the Ravens that meant little to Oakland. Their offense couldn't move the ball and their defense did little without Nnamdi Asomugha on the field covering the #1 receiver.

Marc Bulger, Darren McFadden, and Darrius Heyward-Bey could do nothing but watch as Joe Flacco lit up the Raiders defense, who was only minus Nnamdi Asomugha (who would come on the field in dime situations due to a lack of corners).

Flacco stayed in the entire game, completing 20 of 34 passes for 310 yards and 1 TD with 3 INT's in the game.

After most of the turnovers, the Raiders offense simply sputtered. They couldn't pass protect against 3 to 4 rushers, and any hope of a running game was non-existent, as Justin Fargas was meeting defenders in the backfield on every snap in his only action of the season.

Oakland falls to 15-1 and has a healthy team ready for the postseason, while Baltimore moves to 12-4 in their playoff preparation.

I always thought that you could field a team of '50' rated players and go undefeated.

Brett Favre's "Minnestoa Fling" comes to what is likely an ignomoius end in a disaster against the Giants. Whye the Boys In Blue could do no wrong, constantly getting five yards behind the deep coverage and breaking every tackle offered, the Vikings saw tipped passes turned into pick sixes ... the classic QB-hit-DT-pick-six ... and goal line fumbles.

Even with their disastrous record, the Vikes won't be picking very high in the draft as they look for their QB of the future.

In related news, there are rumors rumbling that Adrian Peterson may be on the block for a high draft pick, as the Vikings took to restructure their offense.

Adrian Peterson's home in Minneapolis was listed for sale on Tuesday, according to multiple reports. The star running back feels his time with the team is nearing an end. Peterson has been at odds with coach Mark Fossen, said a source who also reports the Vikings may have already been contacted by an interested team. The Commish is holding off on a tampering investigation for the time being.

No Cutler, no problem as Hester returns 3 touchdowns in 38-7 win

Bears wanted to minimize injuries in this game but at the same time this was almost a must win. On the first drive Cutler found himself out of the game with a abdominal strain. Cutler was said to be out for a quarter but Coach Altimus decided to stick it out with Caleb Hanie. Hanie started the game throwing two interceptions but Hester helped ease the pain with a punt return for a touchdown to make it 7-0. Moments later Hanie responded himself as he found Michael Gaines for a touchdown strike.

Hester would not stop as he returned a kick return for a touchdown to start the half and another after a Lions touchdown. Caleb Hanie also threw another strike, this time to Desmond Clark.

Caleb Hanie finished the game 17/22 - 147 Yards - 2 TDs - 2 INT

Charles Tillman intercepted Matthew Stafford twice; his 5th interception in two games and 14 total for the season.

The Bears finish strong and end the season 9-7 after a very disappointing start. After a 3-6 start, the Bears went on to finish 6-1 with the only loss coming on the road in the final seconds against a difficult Baltimore Ravens squad. The Bears now wait to see who they will host Wild Card weekend.

Panthers lost to the Saints by alot. Don't remember the score but it wasn't close. Turnovers + stupid decisions did me in.
