LOL. Wishful thinking dude. I'm not hating on 2k. I am one of those that bought it. I do have some issues with it, but aside from that if you look at things realistically this game is going to get hurt real bad this year in sales. I got my copy about 3-4 days after release and the guy at the Gamestop didn't even know what I was talking about when I told him I wanted 2k10..the one not made by EA. It wasn't on their stock behind the register. He had to ask his manager about it. They got a grand total of two of them in and one sold earlier in the week. I had to take the open one that they used for a display copy. Again, this was after the game had been out for 3 or 4 days. And I live in a busy metropolitan area..so this isn't like it's out in the boondocks.

This game is going to get hurt bad with sales numbers this year. The number of folks online is just another indicator. How many people do you think are on line for EA's game? Not 114, I guarantee you that. I'm not debating quality here between the two games, I'm just being realistic with what I've seen and heard. Don't be surprised if it goes the way of 2k's college hoops franchise. I hope this isn't the case..but I'm just being realistic.

Great post, right on the money and very sad to hear all that. No demo, next-to-no info before release (again), coming off of 2-3 years of bad reviews and slumping sales... You would think 2K would have pulled out all the stops to put out a top quality product and market it properly. I'm afraid the day when 2K goes the way of a number of defunct game companies I could name, is fast approaching.

Its just so sad that a game like this, which is actually really good, gets shown no love due to horrific marketing and terribly written reviews.

All I want to do is play online but unfortunately it is next to impossible to find a match.

Even if I do find a match, I have only played 3 different people in about 8 games.

Its ridiculous
