Codes?

When might the uniform codes be released?

The only teams I've seen so far with jerseys other than home and away and alternate are the Pens and Red Wings.

Yeah usually they're out by now. I think 2k9's throwbacks weren't code items and there were more of them.

Season starts on Thursday so for sure the code has to be out before then

The code won't be released until all of the new jerseys have been worn during a game. I do know that the Minnesota Wild don't play with their new 3rds until October 21, so it will for sure be sometime after that. This same rule applies to the sales of the jerseys. You can't buy them until they've been officially "gameworn". Actually, you can pay for them before then, but you won't receive it until after they've been used in-game. Silly NHL!!

Yeah but aren't there throwbacks in there as well? It seems like there were more last year. I mean a team like the Habs, 100 years and they only have "home" and "away"?

Yeah, some of the throwbacks are already there, like the North Stars, Jets, and Nordiques. Not sure if more are unlockable or not. Maybe perhaps via the trophies or other achievements? Hmmm, might have to see if throwbacks are available for those teams I've won achievement trophies for.

Any update yet as to when the 3rd jerseys code will be released? I thought all of the 3rds had been game-worn already. Thanks!

Knowing 2k the code for the ps3 will be different and wont get released
