There is no "best" set. It's what works for you. Go on 2KShare or and download the different sets. Find a set that comes close to what you are looking for and go from there, adjust accordingly. I will post what I'm working with in a bit. Should be noted that the game plays differently in Franchise mode than Quick Game, so if you plan on playing a Franchise, test the sliders in that mode or vice versa.

Absolutely true. That is why 2k is great. Whats good for one isn't good for someone else. There are some amazing sets on 2kshare and they all play differently. They are also a great base to tweak from to make your own sliders.

Personally, I love my 10thStv.5 sliders on 2k share. Takes some getting used to. My buddy hated them because of the excessive loose pucks from poke checks, so made a 10thStv.5.2 or something like that, and he loves them.

Look around, we'll help guide you as well. Welcome to one of the most underrated games of all time, in my opinion.

Re: Best 2k10 sliders?

I play 8 minute periods. I will have to check for the exact ice and puck friction. I think, it maybe 38 and 40 respectively but I remember tweaking that so I'll have to check.

I'll try to get on to check when The Apprentice finale ends and I get the tv back..........and will post the exact that I use.

Important fact from Savoie, the sliders do play differently betweeen quick game and franchise.

Not trying to be a dick, but what's the proof of this?

The only proof I have is that when I use my sliders in quick game I whomp the computer in all aspects of the game. When I use them in Franchise mode my stats are nearly identical to that of the computer.

Try it, you'll see. Not sure if it has something to do with the changing of players from Hot, Normal or Cold during Franchise or something.

The only proof is to try it yourself really, it's too hard to explain. It's just a different feel and the AI just seems to behave differently. It's been this way for years and is even the case somewhat with EA's game as well, but more so with 2K.
